1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using SocialBrew, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be legally bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use SocialBrew.
• You must not be prohibited from using the Service under the laws of your jurisdiction.
• You must not have been previously banned or removed from SocialBrew.
• You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating your account.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

• Use a strong, unique password and keep it secure.
• Notify us immediately at info@bteract.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
• Not share your account with any other person.
• Not create more than one account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use SocialBrew only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content, including fake profile photos.
• Harass, bully, threaten, or harm other users.
• Send unsolicited promotional messages or spam.
• Solicit money, financial information, or gifts from other users.
• Share explicit, offensive, or illegal content.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or similar tools.
• Use the Service for commercial solicitation without our prior written consent.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

5. Brew Reservations

The scheduling and café/pub/restobar reservation features ("Brew Reservations") are provided for convenience. By using them, you acknowledge:

• Reservations are subject to venue availability and their own terms.
• SocialBrew acts as an intermediary and is not responsible for venue conduct, cancellations, or disputes.
• You are responsible for honouring or cancelling reservations in a timely manner.
• Meeting someone in person carries inherent risks; always prioritise your personal safety.

6. Premium Subscriptions and Payments

• Some features require a paid subscription ("Premium").
• All fees are stated in the app and are charged in advance on a recurring basis unless cancelled.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods, except where required by law.
• Promotional offers (such as "1 month free") are for new subscribers only and are subject to separate promotional terms.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post ("User Content"). By posting it, you grant SocialBrew a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, and display your User Content solely to operate and improve the Service.

You represent that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights, or any applicable laws.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are the exclusive property of SocialBrew and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

9. Safety and Reporting

We are committed to providing a safe environment. If you encounter content or behaviour that violates these Terms, please report it in the app or email safety@socialbrew.app. We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action, including removing content or banning accounts.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. SocialBrew does not guarantee:

• That you will find a match or form any particular relationship.
• That the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• The accuracy or completeness of any user-provided content.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SocialBrew and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to personal injury, loss of data, or damages resulting from meetings arranged through the Service.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the applicable jurisdiction.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
